The Cowrie Hole really is a small hidden gem of Newcastle. I have made countless memories of surfing with friends here… full of iconic stacks, talking absolute smack and also witnessing the “wave of the day”. These pieces capture the essence of surfing in the early, hazy hours of the morning, when the Cowrie Hole can be at its quietest. Featuring Ava and her graceful and extremely stylish surfing, as she dances all the way to the nose.
